Listing of the Week: Italian Villa Favored by Stars

When the Vatican was restored, Antonio D’Atellis was one of the artists who refreshed the delicate frescoes that line the walls and ceilings. Across the world, D’Atellis did extensive work on another property, an Italian-style villa in Los Angeles, listed at $8,395,000. “After finishing construction, Antonio and three of his assistants stayed at the house for six months and the owner gave them a blank canvas,” explained listing agent Joe Babajian of Rodeo Realty. “He painted the house completely based on how he was inspired.”
